About
Bitcoin and money, explained in Croatian
Crypto Hrvatska is an independent Croatian-language media platform covering Bitcoin, crypto markets, macroeconomics and regulation. It was founded in October 2020 as one of the first crypto YouTube channels in the Croatian language.
Why it exists
Interest in Bitcoin in Croatia was high, but quality content in Croatian was scarce. English has hundreds of channels, analyses and podcasts. Croatian had almost nothing serious, and many people do not follow English-language financial content comfortably.
Crypto Hrvatska was created to fill that gap: analysis over hype, context over noise, and a long-term view over speculation.
From sceptic to Bitcoin

Kristijan Joksimović, founder of Crypto Hrvatska, completed a degree in business management in the United States, where his studies introduced him early to economics, financial markets, stocks and indices. At first he saw Bitcoin as just another speculative bubble.
His view changed gradually. Studying macroeconomics, econometrics and monetary history, he began to look more closely at how money is created, how it spreads through the economy and who benefits from it first. His thinking was shaped in particular by authors of the Austrian School of economics, such as Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich Hayek, and by the Cantillon effect.
Today he sees Bitcoin as a form of sound money whose monetary policy is set in advance by its protocol, with a maximum supply of 21 million BTC. That is why he believes Bitcoin should not be viewed only through its price, but as a monetary and financial phenomenon worth understanding.
Through every market phase
Since 2020 we have published continuously, without long breaks: through the 2021 euphoria, the Terra/LUNA collapse, Celsius and FTX, the bear market, the introduction of MiCA, US spot Bitcoin ETFs and the 2024 halving. Continuity through good times and bad is the best proof that we are in this for the long term.
